Jewlery

Well I think gold is pretty disgusting actually because so much Native American land is being mined up. Whole mountains being leveled for gold. That being said I made this peice before I knew about it. Cari and I were at a gem show and I picked up a couple of star rubies and saw a lions head with star rubie eyes. so I talked one of my clients into comisioning the peice. At the time I was learning about precious metal clay(which I recomend ONLY for costume jewlery and not the gold stuff). I think that the one place that this clay would be really useful is in theater props because it is easy to make a unique peice of jewlery very quickly. the problem of it is that it doesn't have as good of a bond as a piece that is smolted and cast.

22K lionhead with star rubie eyes, commisioned piece. Perhaps some day it will show up at my opera.
