This video started out as my name with the fireworks and flaming turtle petroglyph which I used for the background of a DVD page(done in Maya and recomposited in After Effects). Then I decided to use it for my name on the web pages as well, so I made the page name and added a 32 bit glow to it and duplicated the names for the different pages. Then I decided to use it on this page to show some sort of effect, so I animated all of the various words alittle and decided to use a liquify effect on the words. Slight problem though because liquify is a 16 bit effect which would cancel out the 32 bit glow. So what I did was compressed the color with the compander effect, then put on the liquify effect, and then decompressed the color with the compander effect again.
